Doris “Dot” McCully was one of Teresa’s best friends and a much-loved member of the farm family. She began volunteering in 2016, and the farm became her happy place. When she adopted the mustang Skye, the two formed a bond the farm’s tribute describes as inseparable.
Dot showed her love in the everyday work of caring for the animals. She made sure they had food and water, noticed what needed doing, and helped new volunteers find their feet. Her care reached well beyond her beloved Skye.
Dot is deeply missed. We remember her with love and gratitude for the friendship she gave Teresa and the kindness she brought to the farm. Her full tribute and these photographs appear in the Spring / Summer 2026 newsletter.
