A rescue flight brought Polka Dot from a Georgia shelter to foster care. Her puppies were born on October 13, 2025—a little family whose start depended on people opening their homes and hearts.

In February 2023, volunteers brought eleven pregnant Nigerian dwarf goats from Barnstead to safety after their owners could no longer care for them. Food and quarantine care were the first steps in their new beginning.
